Rod Johnston, MBA, CMA
Rod’s background in accounting, finance, sales, and real estate make him one of the most well-rounded practice transition consultants in America. Rod has an MBA from Seattle University and is a Certified Management Accountant. He is also an Accredited Business Appraiser by the Institute of Business Appraisers. Rod’s experience and background include stints as a financial planner, as Assistant Treasurer and Director of Accounting for AT&T Wireless, and as a Commercial Broker for Keller-Williams and Omni Healthcare Real Estate. Corey owned and operated his own dental practice for 20 years in Galion, Ohio. Adding to his invaluable experience as an owner and operator, Corey has an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from William Howard Taft University where he did advanced training in both business valuation and entrepreneurial finance. Corey is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, a Certified Valuation Analyst, and an Accredited Business Intermediary. Steve Kikikis
Steve is an experienced broker and has been licensed for 9 years. Steve works closely with individual doctors to understand exactly what the parameters are for the space they are looking to locate. He then performs in depth market and demographic analysis to identify potential locations for their practices. Michael Kovsky, DVM
Dr. Michael Kovsky joined Omni Practice Group to provide his knowledge and expertise on veterinary medical practice sales and associated real estate. He will be available to the Omni Practice Group in Oregon and Washington. Dr. Michael Kovsky attended The Citadel and The Ohio State University. Upon graduation from Ohio State University he served in The United States Army, before entering private practice. In Portland, Oregon he owned Animal Medical Clinic, an AAHA accredited hospital. Upon leaving clinical practice, he joined Hills Pet Products as the director of Technical Services. For Advance Veterinary System, he acted as the vice president of marketing. Before joining International Business Associates, he completed graduate studies at the University of Kansas and Purdue University. From these vast experiences and as a former practice owner, he has personally negotiated professional practice transactions in the Pacific Northwest since joining IBA in 1990. Dr. Kovsky is a nationally recognized informational resource for the veterinary industry relating to the sale, purchase, or merger of hospitals. He is a published author in the trade publications for AAHA, WSVMA, and OVMA and has been a featured speaker at veterinary conventions and veterinary college programs. |
